Current Student Ministries

Current student ministry is divided into middle school and high school ministries. While we meet at the same time on Wednesday nights during the school year for worship, we have separate teaching and small groups for each. Our intention is to create great memories so that students associate the people of God with good, healthy fun and loving relationships, but we also teach about Jesus in a creative and relevant way so that they can honestly choose a personal relationship with him. Finally, we think students need to be empowered and given the opportunities to develop their gifts to serve inside the church as well as in the community. Many of our students serve each Sunday before or after attending the adult service, plus they get involved in missions and outreach activities throughout the year.

Fun Facts About Current

We call ourselves Current; you can recognize our stuff because it has RRs all over it.
Our live worship band is comprised primarily of our own students, and they rock!
We draw about 60 students mainly from Irmo, Dutch Fork, Spring Hill, and Chapin schools each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
