Belmopan, Central Belize July 4-11, 2016
We will partner with a local church, Living Water Fellowship Church, to put on Camp Joy Belize—a five-day residential summer camp for adults and youth with intellectual disabilities. Each camper is paired one-on-one with a counselor, and all programming in the camp is tailored to the unique skills of each camper, so the staffing needs are high. This trip is open to rising 9th graders and older. The cost for the trip is $1600 per person
Norway, South Carolina, July 24-30, 2016
During this week, we will serve children and youth locked in rural poverty in our own state. In the mornings we will partner with Three Crosses to facilitate a day camp. In the afternoons, our team will participate in other service projects in the community. Living Water Fellowship Church Just because this is an hour away, don’t be fooled. This is a cross-cultural mission trip! Participants must be rising 7th graders or older. The cost for the trip is $250 per person.

Partners

Do Good Initiative
Each summer, we partner with the Do Good Initiative to do community development in Bwenda, Rwanda. This small, rural town is a significant provider of the coffee we drink every Sunday. We love working with the school in Bwenda and supporting farming communities each summer and knowing the coffee we drink each Sunday supports Rwandan farmers with a wage far above fair trade.
Pastor Frankie and Abbie Wade
Pastor Frankie is the passionate leader of Living Water Fellowship Church near Belmopan, Belize. He’s also the director of Global Outreach Vo-Tech, a residential program that takes boys who can’t get into high school and teaches them a trade. Frankie himself was one of the first boys who came through their program! Abbie is a regional advocate for families with special needs children. It’s through her relationships with teachers and families and tireless leadership that Camp Joy Belize was born.
