Global Missions

We reach out to our world through strategic, long term partnerships with local leaders who are investing in their people.

Events

Gikenke District, Northern Rwanda | June 15-27, 2018
Working with our partners, Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Company, we will train Community Health Workers, assist teachers and high school students in learning English, and coach small business owners in basic business practices. Participants must be at least 21 years old with a skill set that applies to one of these areas.
Belmopan, Central Belize | July 2-9, 2018
We will partner with a local church, Living Water Fellowship, to conduct Camp Joy Belize—a five-day residential summer camp for adults and youth with intellectual disabilities. Each camper is paired one-to-one with a counselor and the activities are tailored to his or her unique skill set. This trip is open to rising 9th graders and older.
Norway, South Carolina | June 24-30 & July 22-28, 2018
This year, we’re expanding our connection with Three Crosses Outreach day camps to better serve children and youth trapped in rural poverty. In the mornings, our team will share the love of Jesus with children by playing sports, doing crafts, and prioritizing summer reading.. In the afternoons, we will participate in service projects in the community, primarily by clearing overgrown yards. Participants must be rising 7th graders or older.

Partners

Do Good Initiative
Each summer, we partner with the Do Good Initiative to assist with community development in Ruli and Bwenda, Rwanda. These small, rural towns are significant providers of the coffee we drink every Sunday. While our Go Team educates Rwandans on basic health practices, business skills, and the English language, they teach us about the forgiveness and reconciliation they have experienced following the genocide in Rwanda 22 years ago.
Living Water Fellowship Church
Pastor Frankie is the passionate leader of Living Water Fellowship Church near Belmopan, Belize and the director of Global Outreach Vo-Tech. This residential program assists boys who are unable to get into high school by teaching them a trade. Frankie himself was one of the first boys who came through their program. Abbie, Pastor Frankie’s wife, is a regional advocate for families with special needs children. Camp Joy was born as a result of Abbie’s tireless leadership and her relationships with the teachers and families.
Three Crosses Outreach
Bragg and Salley Williams began Three Crosses Outreach over 20 years ago to share the love of Jesus with children in their rural community. Through Three Crosses Day Camp, Bible studies, and community service, Bragg and Salley are working to bridge the racial and economic gulf that divides their community. We help them with several projects throughout the year.
