East Lake Regathering Updates

East Lake will begin regathering Sunday, June 7 at 9 am and 11 am. The 9 am worship gathering will be livestreamed at eastlakeonline.com and on the East Lake Facebook page.

East Lake leadership recognizes that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By gathering at East Lake Community Church, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

East Lake leadership understands that many individuals are not comfortable regathering in person. Online services will continue to be offered and virtual ministry opportunities will continue to be provided so that our East Lake family can worship and connect with God as He calls each individual to do.

Please review the Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about regathering.

2 Tim 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

How will the new building configuration impact me and my family?

Check-in for families and those who serve at East Lake is no longer available in the lobby. You will be able to pick up your name and guardian tags in the family ministry hallways after you have checked-in on the F1Go app on your personal smartphone.

The new facility configuration provides space for six adult gathering spaces on Sunday mornings. These spaces are interspersed in the family ministry center. For everyone’s safety and security, please wear your nametag or guardian tag when you are in the family ministry center.

Parents/Guardians your guardian tag will be required for access to the family ministry pick-up locations and your guardian tag will be matched with your child’s nametag before your child will be released to you.

No children will be released “to find their parent”. This is a policy change for 5th and 6th graders. All children in the nursery up to 6th grade must be picked up by a parent/guardian with the appropriate matching guardian tag.

There will no longer be a security checkpoint at the family ministry center hallway entrance. Security will be scattered throughout the building monitoring the facility.

There is a new volunteer lounge that will open June 14. Prepackaged breakfast items will be available from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. for those who are serving on Sunday morning. Self-check-in nametags will be available for volunteers in the lounge as well

A new prayer space is available in the auditorium with prayer pods when you may go to pray or have someone pray with you before or after services.
